About the Role
We are seeking a self-motivated and highly organised Yard Hand to join our Brisbane Operations Team in Acacia Ridge. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Branch to prepare all items, such as parts and equipment for deliveries to potential customers in sales, service, and rentals. You will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of inventory and warehouse controls.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Review all returned units and noting any damage for quoting.
- Assist in cleaning and tagging trucks to staging area for delivery to customers.
- Ensure all rental trucks are cleaned weekly ready for distribution to the next customers.
- Clean demonstration trucks every second day.
- Clean workshop and warehouse floor at least once a week.
- Review and maintain the transportation schedule.
- Complete stock take sheets and submit for review at the end of month by the Branch Manager.
- Steam cleaning lift trucks as directed by the Workshop Manager.
- Emptying metal and work bay bins as required daily.
Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in a similar role within the Capital Equipment sector.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Self-directed and motivated.
- High attention to detail.
