Tasks, duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Maintaining safe work practices and a safe work environment 
• Carrying out scheduled maintenance to Caterpillar and Non Caterpillar products.
• Overhaul experience with CAT, Cummins, Hitachi, Toro, Detroit, Dana Spicer, New Holland and Komatsu  machinery
• High knowledge of re usability on used equipment
• Knowledge of diagnosis / fault finding and troubleshooting on Heavy Equipment
• Familiarity with completion of service reports and service literature
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team    
• A dedicated commitment to following WesTrac Safety and Quality Policies, completing Risk Assessments for every task.
• Ensure company safety procedures, safe working practices and Safety Lifesaving Rules are    strictly followed, to achieve zero harm and incidents    

Successful applicants will be provided with a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Essential Criteria:

• Heavy Duty Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Valid current Drivers Licence
• Previous experience heavy vehicle experience
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
• Dedicated commitment to Safety & Quality Policies, completing Risk Assessments for every task
• High Risk License - EWP, Working at Heights, Forklift, Overhead Crane, Rigging or Dogging 
• Dedicated to fulfilling internal and external customer requirements
