The Company
Our client, based in the South East, is a market leader in the manufacturing industry for the type of equipment and goods they manufacture. This role would suit candidates living around the Dandenong, Hallam, Keysborough and Frankston area.
The Role
Reporting to the production manager, you will have excellent fabrication and welding experience. This role will see you working with different materials and will require someone who can adapt quickly, who is a team player, and who is passionate about delivering excellence.
You will need to be a team player as this company has a strong work ethic culture and all who work there are proud of achieving and culture. This is a long term casual position and if client does not feel that a strong work ethic, excellent attitude and ability to work as a team is not being demonstrated then they may look to replace.
Non trade and trade qualified applications will be considered. Tools are not required and are available on site for use.
Hours
Monday to Thursday 7am - 3.30pm, Friday 6am -12pm
Responsibilities
This role includes, but is not limited to;
- Reading and interpretation of drawings.
- Stainless tig welding.
- Mild steel mig welding.
- Aluminum tig welding.
- Using a guillotine, grinders, saws.
You must have experience in all of the above and your resume will reflect this or it will not be considered.
Key Requirements
- Stainless tig, mild steel mig and aluminium tig welding (weld test will be conducted).
- Ability to use saws, grinders and guillotine.
- Some work can be fiddly, so dexterity can be required on some work.
- Must be available for an immediate start.
- Punctual, enthusiastic, energetic & physically fit.
- Perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with Company’s Health & Safety policies & procedures.
- A current Victorian driver’s licence.
- Steel cap boots and PPE.
- A reliable vehicle.
- Must be available for an immediate start.
