The Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be working in a tidy and clean workshop with a great team and be responsible for maintaining,servicing and repairing motor vehicles and related mechanical components in the workshop.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out all repairs including engine, transmission and differentials
- Repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components (referring to service procedures as required)
- Perform scheduled maintenance service
- Maintain accurate service, repair and clocking records
- Advise on warranty claims and prepare reports associated with vehicle service and repairs
- Inspect vehicles and perform roadworthy tests - if licensed to do so
About You
- Qualified technician with at least two years of experience
- Experience with the Volvo brand will be highly regarded
- Comprehensive experience of Automotive Workshop operations
- Strong technical knowledge
- Proven time management skills and ability to prioritise
- Good communication skills
- Computer literacy particularly in MS Word, Excel & Outlook
- Working understanding of OH&S legislation & requirements
