POSITION VACANT: CNC MILL OPERATOR
Daily tasks will include; setting up jobs for manufacture, preparing material/consumables, checking the quality of your own jobs and complying with our Quality Management System requirements with regards to paperwork and processes. From time to time other tasks may be assigned such as manual machining, QA checks etc.
The successful applicant:
- will be competent in intricate machining using tolerances to 0.01mm
- will be required to take responsibility for their completed jobs
- by checking the tolerances and quality of their own work
- by signing off job as correct and accurate prior to dispatch
- will be able to meet the requirements of our Quality Management System
- will be required to supply some of their own hand tools and measuring equipment
Conditions
- Hourly rate starting at $28 per hour (increased based on experience and demonstrated ability)
- Standard 38 hour week, Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 3.30pm. Friday 7:00am to 1.00pm.
- Overtime offered when workflow dictates at time and a half rate
- Superannuation in line with government requirements

- Annual leave plus leave loading at 17.5%
- Clean, tobacco free environment
- A probationary period will apply to this position
- Uniforms will be supplied after the probationary period is complete.
- Steel toed shoes are required but not provided by BES.
- Employment terms and conditions contract and non-disclosure agreement must be signed at commencement of employment
