As part of the Oxford Brookes Business School marketing team the focus of this six month secondment is on the marketing of the Oxford School of Hospitality Management and the promotion of the Business Schools academic research output. The role holder will be involved in a range of marketing activities, including social media, development of web content and printed materials, events, online advertising and data analysis. Specific projects will also be assigned to this role, in particular the undergraduate conversion student telephone campaign.
You will be:
- Working closely with the Oxford School of Hospitality Management to develop and articulate its identity to external audiences
- Preparing and presenting targeted and accurate copy for online channels and printed marketing materials, in line with University branding guidelines and in liaison with relevant university marketing staff and external audiences
- Managing key student recruitment projects
- Working with key researchers to understand, present and promote the Business School research outputs to key stakeholders
- Ensuring that collaborative relationships are developed in marketing across the university, working and exchanging information with the Corporate Affairs Directorate and marketing staff in other faculties.
You should have:
- A levels or significant relevant experience
- Ability to write, edit, proof read and prepare copy
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to clearly communicate complex information as well as prioritise and manage competing demands
- Ability to use software packages appropriate to the role responsibilities
- Commitment to quality
- Well developed customer relationship management skills.
