We are seeking a self-motivated IT Officer to provide ICT support for research programmes in the MRC Brain Network Dynamics Unit (

The BNDU is uniquely multidisciplinary and operates over two sites at the University of Oxford (Department of Pharmacology and Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences). Educated to degree level or equivalent, you should have high-level understanding, experience and technical competence across a broad range of computing areas including user support, hardware, server operating systems, Windows and Linux networking and data management. You should demonstrate a creative approach to problem solving, the ability to work independently and to communicate effectively. Experience of an academic environment would be an advantage.

This part-time post (0.6 FTE, 22.5 hours per week) is available now and will be based in the Unit’s main site in Pharmacology. The post is fixed-term for up to 30 months (latest end date 31 March 2020), externally funded by the MRC.
