The incoming Pro Vice Chancellor - Research, Business and Innovation will focus on the strategic leadership, management, planning and co-ordination of the University’s academic endeavours. Kingston University is committed to enhancing its research and enterprise, emphasising the need for a step change in the scale and scope of the University’s activities in this regard, revenue-base, outputs and outcomes; as well as its research and enterprise-related partnerships.
Candidates will demonstrate outstanding leadership credentials, alongside an ability to inspire and motivate staff across all disciplines. This will be combined with a first-rate academic reputation, as well as an innovative and ambitious approach to modernising and expanding the impact of research. The successful candidate will be keyed into developments across both the public and private sectors, with an in-depth knowledge of industry related research and enterprise.
