About the role

  • To work closely with the academic staff of the University to improve the reach and significance of the impact of our research and enterprise activities, and in the development of impact case studies for the 2021 Research Excellence Framework exercise (REF 2021)
  • To work closely with the communications team to showcase our research activities, through website development and social media channels, and by liaison with the press and other interested bodies.

The role will be considered as a job share.

About you (requirements)

With proven abilities in understanding, evidencing and communicating the impact of academic research, the post holder will work closely with academic staff to realise and 

demonstrate research impact, with excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to understand and explain complex subjects in a way that is easily understood by non-specialists.
