We are seeking a lecturer specialising in Developmental Psychology. You will join a Department which is very student-centred and is proud of a record of excellent research-informed teaching. You will contribute to teaching on our BPS accredited undergraduate BSc and MSc Conversion programmes as well as our MSc in Family and Child Psychology. You will also be research active and there are opportunities to supervise at PhD level.

You will contribute fully to the academic life of this busy, friendly Department and to the University as a whole. The University of Chester has a long and proud history as an institution of Higher Education. We are located on an attractive campus which combines attractive old and new buildings on a campus within walking distance of the City Centre. Chester itself is a beautiful, historic city. Its location means that we have easy access both to other cities and to fantastic countryside.

The successful applicant will have a degree in Psychology and will have (or be close to completing) a PhD (or professional doctorate) in Psychology. If you are not already a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) then you will be required and supported to obtain this.

This is a full-time, permanent post. Relocation expenses are available in line with University policy.
