Applications are invited for a University Lectureship in Economics and Public Policy within the Department of Land Economy.  The post will involve teaching and research within the areas of economics and public policy.

The post is available from 01 October 2017.

The successful candidates will be expected to undertake research in economics and public policy, to publish in international journals in the field, to contribute to teaching, to supervise research students, and to make a general contribution to his or her discipline and to the work of the Department. The successful candidate will lecture and co-ordinate teaching in economics and public policy modules, which might include contributions to Paper 7 (Regional Economics and Policy) and Paper 11 (Land and Urban Economics) of the Land Economy Tripos (the undergraduate degree) and to applied economics teaching across the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Staff may also contribute to college teaching (separately remunerated).

The normal pensionable scale of stipends for a University lecturer is currently £38,896 to £49,230. The appointments will be made at an appropriate point on this scale and will be subject to a probationary period of 5 years.
