Inspired by the idea of working in a school that aspires to develop an imaginative brand of management education and practice?
The University of Bedfordshire Business School is seeking to appoint two new Senior Tutors in Business and Management to support its expanding portfolio of partnership and higher and degree apprenticeship provision. Focusing primarily on teaching and knowledge exchange, you will divide your time between the School's Foundation Stage and Study Centre programmes, and delivery of higher and degree apprenticeships as Apprenticeship Coordinators.
Department of Strategy and Management
Within the Business School, the Department of Strategy and Management reflects the School's established strengths in business management, strategic management, purchasing, supply chain and logistics, business systems and project management. New developments in sustainable management, healthcare management, oil and gas management and gamification together with Higher and Degree apprenticeships have presented an opportunity to reposition the Department to meet the needs of graduates and employers both locally and regionally, as well as overseas where we deliver a number of courses with partner institutions. Our research is world leading in fields such as big data, systems, supply chain management, logistics, business start-up and entrepreneurship. We continue to improve our league table position against our benchmark competitors and are proud of our visible impact on local and regional communities, of our advanced and innovative business and management portfolio and of our staff who are committed to delivering high quality teaching aimed at producing graduates with advanced employability skills.
Working with a team within the Department, you will report to the Head of Department, but will also report in specific aspects of your work to the senior staff leading in the areas of Higher and Degree Apprenticeships and partnership delivery. You will be expected to work flexibly across our distributed campuses and with employers as appropriate.
Interviews will be held on 28 September 2017
