An exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinical oncology trainee with a higher degree (PhD/MD) who is considering or committed to developing a successful clinical-academic career, 30% of your time will be spent supporting the NHS SABR service and 70% academic research as a member of the Advanced Radiotherapy Group led by Maria Hawkins. The position is at a post FRCR or at a consultant level (or equivalent).
You will be MBBS qualified (or equivalent). You will hold or have submitted your PhD/MD at the time you apply and must have been fully awarded your degree by the time you take up the post.
You should also be close to or post CCT registration.
Within this role you will contribute to and develop excellence in research and teaching and will develop as one of the independent academic clinical oncology researchers in the UK.
This is a full-time post and is available for 3 years in the first instance.
