The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £34,056 - £41,163 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

We are looking to recruit a Research Associate to support the day-to-day running of a study of skin inflammation in human volunteers, both at UCL and occasionally at University Hospitals Birmingham.  A well as general laboratory duties and management, the post holder will also be involved in recruitment and consent of patients and healthy volunteers and clinical procedures including skin injection, blood sampling, suction blister formation and aspiration, assisting with skin biopsy.

This post is funded for one year in the first instance.

Applicants must hold a PhD (or equivalent) and have a Higher Degree within a scientific discipline.  They must also have practical experience of working in a laboratory including flow cytometry; practical experience of recruitment and consent of human volunteers for research, and experience of collecting samples from human volunteers is desirable.
