Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Fellow in the Department of Electronic Engineering; a new department that will focus on a project-lead, creative approach to teaching engineering and high-quality research.
The post holder will deliver high-quality teaching to first year undergraduate students on “Principles of sustainable engineering” (existing 15 CU module), to MSc students on “Sustainable power generation”, laboratory supervision, supervising group projects, pastoral care and other activities as appropriate.
The successful candidate will have a completed or near completed a PhD in Electronic Engineering, ideally in an aspect of sustainable engineering or power systems. S/he will offer evidence of high-quality teaching in higher education, effective team working, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous personal development.
This is a full time maternity cover position, available from 1st December 2017 – 30th July 2018. This post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park close to Central London and Heathrow Airport.
