The University invites applications for the above post which is available from 1st September 2017 until 31 March 2019 in the first instance. There is a possibility of extension subject to continued funding and fulfilling probationary requirements.
You will work on the design of a frequency and time distribution system that will meet the requirements of both the SKA-Mid and SKA-Low telescopes, collaborating with other international researchers in the SADT Consortium. The design will be taken through Critical Design Review and will be demonstrated on the eMERLIN telescope. The design will then be further developed to production readiness.
