Fixed Term – 6 monthsSalary: Lecturer: £33,943 - £38,183
The Faculty of Engineering and Environment is passionate about the principles and applications of Engineering, Science and Technology in all its forms and strives to be excellent in research, teaching and innovation.
Working within the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, you will provide expertise in one or more of the following areas: Java Programming, Networks, Social Media & Web Analytics, Embedded Systems, Web Programming or Cyber Security. The significant focus of this post will be on learning and teaching, however you will also contribute to the wider activities of the department such as enhancement of research, and entrepreneurial activities.
You must hold a first degree and it is desriable that you should be either qualified or soon to be qualified to Doctoral level in a relevant discipline, and have subject expertise in Computer Science with specialist knowledge gained through research activity, professional practice or consultancy. Proven ability to deliver high quality teaching within an appropriate field is essential. Membership (or eligibility for membership) of a relevant professional body is desirable.
