An exciting role of Enterprise Outreach Executive is now available in the Converge Challenge team based at the Research and Enterprise Services of Heriot-Watt University.
The role provides an opportunity to help develop and grow a premium pan-Scotland entrepreneurship programme - Converge Challenge.
You will be working with staff, students, and recent graduates of all nineteen Scottish Universities and research institutes, helping them developing their business ideas and guiding them through the Converge Challenge process.
With a background in start-ups, entrepreneurship, and business development, you will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to network effectively; excellent written and oral communications skills.
Key priorities will include:
- Proactive engagement with potential applicants.
- Coach and guiding participants through the Converge Challenge process.
- Ability to deliver and support entrepreneurship training delivered within Scottish HEIs.
- Proactive engagement with universities and other stakeholders.
The post reports to the Enterprise Creation Manager within Converge Challenge.
This is a fixed-term post for 15 months in the first instance, with a possible extension for another 3 years as we expect to hear about continue funding by the end of the year.
A Higher education degree is essential, together with relevant professional experience.
This role does not meet the minimum requirements set by UKVI to enable sponsorship of migrant workers.
