To contribute to development and delivery of the School’s full time, part time and other specialist courses in the area of Instrumentation and Control Engineering and related subjects. You will provide a high quality learning experience for our students using a wide range of approaches including lectures, tutorials, seminars, laboratory classes, on-line and distance learning, and individual and group/team projects and related activities. You will support the development and execution of research, innovation, knowledge transfer and other enterprise activity, including publication and generation of external funding.

The successful candidate must have a good honours degree in Instrumentation/ Electrical/Electronic/Control Engineering and a PhD in a relevant discipline. You must be able to teach at a range of different levels and employ a range of teaching styles/approaches. The ability to contribute to teaching and research in the general area of Instrumentation and Control Engineering is essential. Specialist expertise should include Instrument and Control System Design, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and embedded systems programming and applications.
