As part of our ongoing commitment to working with primary schools, the Widening Participation team is seeking an outstanding individual to join us as Outreach Officer (Primary Schools).
Across all of our programmes, we provide engaging and innovative learning experiences, and raise pupils’ aspirations and awareness of Higher Education.
The post-holder will work with colleagues to co-ordinate, develop, and deliver high-quality learning activities that support the National Curriculum and local primary school priorities. The successful candidate will relish the opportunity to engage young learners with the University’s expertise, resources, and environment. This will involve delivering sessions both in schools and on the University’s campuses, and contributing to the organisation and management of a range of learning opportunities and activities.
The Outreach Officer (Primary Schools) will embody the University’s commitment to engaging and inspiring primary school pupils. As such, they will deliver excellent learning experiences, as well as supporting University staff and students in doing the same.
The role involves some evening and weekend work throughout the year.
This full-time post will be offered on a fixed-term basis until 31st July 2018.
