The University of Liverpool leads the ESRC NWSSDTP consortium, which also includes the universities of Keele, Lancaster and Manchester. The University is one of the partner institutions in the AHRC NWCDTP, alongside the universities of Keele, Lancaster, Salford, Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan and the Royal Northern College of Music.
You will co-ordinate a range of activities related to the DTPs. This will include the annual DTP studentship competitions, providing support for the University of Liverpool ESRC NWSSDTP and AHRC NWCDTP Institutional Academic Leads, and ensuring effective communication of DTP opportunities and activities to students and staff (0.5FTE). In addition you will cultivate new collaborative opportunities for NWSSDTP students across the four NWSSDTP institutions, working with staff, PGRs and non-HEI partners to develop Collaborative (CASE) Studentships and Internship opportunities as well as overseeing support for DTP students in terms of impact training and careers support (0.5FTE).
You should have a degree (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience) with experience of administration in a postgraduate research focussed environment and possess excellent written and verbal communications skills, including report-writing skills, demonstrating an awareness of the need to tailor work to different audiences. The ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of internal and external colleagues is essential.
