The School of Physiology, Pharmacology and Neuroscience is seeking to appoint a Research Technician in Neuroscience.
Funded by the Wellcome Trust, the post holder will support work within an active interdisciplinary research team investigating synaptic, neural and circuit mechanisms of associative recognition memory in rodents.
You will assist with and perform behavioural experiments, perform surgery and work with post mortem tissue under overall supervision of the group leader and in collaboration with postdoctoral Research Associates. You will also take responsibility for maintenance of transgenic colonies and procurement of lab supplies.
