The School of Chemistry is seeking to appoint a full-time Solvent Stores Technician
Working as part of the stores team you will be responsible for the safe and efficient organisation of the Solvent Store, involving the issuing and receiving of solvents, filling and maintaining solvent stock levels and assisting in the decanting, separating and disposal of waste solvents.
You will also be receiving, checking in and transferring deliveries, parcels etc. to the main store.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is a strong team player. You will have a science GCSE (or equivalent qualification), preferably in chemistry, with good technical skills and strong communication skills.
