Applications are invited from individuals with appropriate experience and a postgraduate qualification in patient safety related research, experience of undertaking research in healthcare environments, a good understanding of the medical education and training pathway, and an interest in medical education/medical education research.

The post holder will be involved in the design and delivery of patient safety and human factors teaching to medical students and also to other members of staff as part of training the trainers. They will lead the designing and undertaking of education research and course evaluation with respect to patient safety and human factors for the medical curriculum.

This post is based in the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition and based on the Foresterhill campus.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 7 (£39,324 to £46,924 per annum), with placement according to qualifications and experience. This is a full-time position but applications for part-time (minimum of 50%) will also be considered.
