This post provides an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the multi-centred TARs trial of a physical activity intervention to enhance smoking reduction and cessation in smokers who do not want to stop smoking immediately. The post will mainly entail overseeing recruitment from general practices, data collection and follow-up of participants at the South West London site, as well as collating data on the acceptability and feasibility of the trial methods and intervention.
Experience of qualitative or quantitative research and awareness of trials research methodology is required, along with an enthusiasm to develop new research skills.
The annual starting salary will be within the range £25,728 to £28,936 plus £3,027 London Weighting.
The contract will be fixed term for 17 months, working 35 hours per week.
