The University of Warwick Library is in an exciting phase of development. Building on the work undertaken in our Learning Grids and Teaching Grid, the Research Exchange and Postgraduate Hub, we have teams specifically responsible for growing Community Engagement with Warwick’s postgraduate, teaching, learning and research communities, complementing work undertaken by our Academic Support Librarians.
This post will be part of the team that is enhancing services for Warwick’s postgraduate communities. The post holder will be responsible for operationalising our strategic plans to enhance our services for postgraduate taught and research students. These services will cover skills development and well-being support as well as initiatives to foster a sense of belonging amongst community members. You will be joining a highly creative team that thinks ‘outside the box’ to develop innovative new services for our postgraduate communities. We are looking for an imaginative person who can turn ideas into action, with an impressive track record in service development and delivery. You will be educated to degree level and be working towards, or in possession of, a recognised postgraduate qualification or possessing significant equivalent experience. It is essential that you have recent experience of working in a front-line, customer-focused academic support role within an appropriate educational institution, ideally working with postgraduate communities. You must have a great track record in operational management. You should also possess exceptional relationship-building skills as we need you to be a highly effective team player working across the institution.
