The Institute of Education is seeking to appoint a permanent, full-time lecturer post in Education. The role includes working as part of a team providing lecturing and support services to students on specific programmes within our education provision. The post holder will be based in London but some occasional travel to our campuses in Lancaster and Carlisle may be necessary.
Holding or willingness to undertake a higher degree on appointment is essential and Qualified Teacher Status is also essential. The post holder will be expected to draw on practical teaching experience as well as academic knowledge to enrich the students’ learning on the undergraduate and postgraduate education programmes. A sound understanding of academic practice is a necessity. A willingness to engage with the delivery of a variety of subject areas across education programmes with a motivation for developing research is essential.
