The salary will be paid at Grade 6 £32,958 to £39,324 per annum, plus 2,923 per annum London Allowance.
This post will be available for 12 months in the first instance
This is a Full Time post – 100 % full time equivalent (but requests for flexible working will be considered)
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the MRC Programme Grant –Psoriasis Stratification to Optimise Relevant Therapy (PSORT) – at St. John’s Institute of Dermatology for a senior bio-statistician. PSORT is a multicenter programme aimed at understanding the factors that determine the response to biologic therapies in patients with psoriasis, a common inflammatory skin conditions affecting up to 1 million people in the UK.
The post-holder will join a dynamic multidisciplinary team including basic scientists, data analysts and clinicians. He/she will drive the statistical and bioinfomatic analysis of phenotypic and functional immune data generated at KCL. These analyses will play a key role in furthering our biological understanding of psoriasis treatment and ultimately influence clinical practice. The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant discipline and will have robust expertise in statistical and bioinfomatic analysis of biological human data. Previous experience with the analysis of multi-omics immune data would be an advantage.
