The Academic Registry’s Academic Services team requires a professional administrator who will take responsibility for the academic administration of a suite of courses within the Business School.
Academic Services Administrators work as part of a team providing a comprehensive, customer-focused service to staff, students and external stakeholders therefore a positive, professional approach and good interpersonal skills are key requirements for this post.
The demands of the role can fluctuate with the academic year and therefore the successful candidate will be flexible with a solutions orientated approach to work and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. You will also have good organisational skills, be proactive and have the ability to work using your own initiative.
Academic Services Administrators can expect to provide support in the areas of quality enhancement, teaching and learning and assessment and also in administering a number of meetings and examination boards. The post holder may also be involved in the development of new programmes/business and other projects.
Previous experience of working in a HE setting would be a distinct advantage.
Successful candidates will be expected to take the lead on ensuring first class academic administration and contributing to an outstanding experience for our students.
