Applications are invited for a 0.8FTE Teaching Fellow in Sound and Algorithmic Composition. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in sound, digital art, and composition at undergraduate and postgraduate level and to contribute to the supervision and assessment of postgraduate summer projects. They will have a deep technical knowledge of sound and studio craft and will have fluency in computer-based sound and composition with expertise in program-ming languages such as MaxMSP, Supercollider, CLM or Pure Data.
Applicants will be educated to PhD level or equivalent in a sound/music-related area. They should have experience of designing and teaching music courses at university level, and will have evidence of engagement with innovative teaching methods.
This role is for 28 hours per week and is a fixed term position which is tenable for a ten-month period from December 2017.
