Salary: £35,550 to £47,722 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
Applications are invited for the above post based at the Division of Rehabilitation and Ageing.
The purpose of this role will be to lead and deliver teaching in the Division of Rehabilitation and Ageing Masters in Rehabilitation Psychology and the Masters in Health Psychology courses.
The role will be working with the two Masters course directors to deliver the courses. This will include being the module convenor, supervising independent research projects, providing teaching, mentorship, tutoring, pastoral care, replying to emails, developing course materials and examining work. The post holder will promote the existing Masters Courses with the aim of increasing student numbers.
The post holder will contribute to the Division of Rehabilitation and Ageing via leadership and administrative management and co-ordination of specific initiatives.
Candidates must hold a Degree or equivalent in relevant subject area and preferably have a Higher Education teaching qualification or equivalent. Membership of a professional body is also desirable.
Successful candidates will be based in the School of Medicine, Queens Medical Centre.
This post is part time, at 7.25 hours a week. It is available immediately and will be offered on a fixed term contract until 31st August 2019.
