The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £34,635 - £41,864 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

The post holder will form part of a small team based within the learning and teaching spaces area of IT Service Delivery, they will be expected to deliver excellent prompt in-depth customer focused 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support of UCL’s teaching spaces, video conferencing systems and managed PC’s.

The post holder would be expected to have an excellent understanding of lecture theatre technologies such as AV control systems, data projection, Large screen display, audio equipment, lecture capture devices, centrally managed desktop PC’s and VC endpoints.

The majority of the post holders standard working hours will be supporting the late shift, starting at 12:30pm and finishing no later than 9pm however, they should also have a flexible approach to working and should be available to support any of the three shifts starting from 7am to 9pm. The post holder will help to maintain the number of logged tickets and will action tickets in their name.

The post holder would also be responsible for mentoring, training and supporting other Client Platform Support officers within the team.

This post is funded for 2 years initially.

We are looking for candidates with excellent knowledge, skills and experience in the Audio Visual aspect of the JD who are able to work Monday to Friday predominantly supporting the late shift starting from 12:30pm until no later than 9pm.

We are looking for candidates with excellent technical and interpersonal skills, with experience of providing excellent IT/AV support in a large organisation.

The post holder should be able to support users within teaching, training and exhibition spaces and have a good under standing of supporting managed PC’s.

The post holder should have experience of programing Crestron products and configuring Crestron RoomView The post holder should have mentoring experience.

This post is looking for someone with essential knowledge, skills and experience in the audio visual aspect of the JD.
