Salary: £2,719 - £3,000 per annum pro rata (10% of £27,190 - £30,000 FTE)
Hours: Part time 3.5 hours per week
Grade: Professional Services Level 2b
Location: Chelsea and Westminster campus
We have a part-time Library Assistant vacancy based in the library at Chelsea and Westminster hospital, for one evening a week. (Fri 17.30 – 21.00)
You will work in a front of house role, providing a high standard of service to our users. Responsibilities will include the operation of circulation services, registration of new users and creation of user records, welcoming library users and answering general enquiries.
You will have at least 5 GCSEs grade A-C or equivalent qualifications, and some work experience in a library. Familiarity with automated library systems, or computerised systems in other service environments, would be an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
