A great Service Manager is one who can keep all aspects of a dealership’s customer care and service programme running well. Productivity and efficiency is the name of your game – and the end result is a humming dealership and happy customers. If that sounds like you, you’re the sort of person we want on board.

You’ll be responsible for making sure that your service team (7 technicians and 2 service advisors and 1 groomer) have the capability to deliver a top-quality customer experience, and that they do so every day. To do that, you’ll bring strong leadership skills, an ability to work well in a team, and a broad focus. From your experience in the car industry, including in the workshop, you’ve gained a solid understanding of how a dealership runs.

You’re analytical and good with figures, which means you can keep track of charge-out and productivity, and therefore the team’s profitability. This is a busy and sometimes intense role – things can change quickly, so you need to be flexible and calm to keep the team running smoothly. Each day you’ll deal with a lot of different people: everyone from groomers to mechanics to managers, as well as a range of customers from all backgrounds.
