Marine Electrician

Our client is a family run business with a long standing reputation in the New Zealand Marine industry and a proud member of the New Zealand Marine Industry Association. They supply marine electrical services and electronic equipment for the boating community and onsite support across Auckland's region marinas. 

They are now looking for a Marine Electrician to join their company in Auckland, NZ, with the potential to earn a Great Hourly Rate + Company Vehicle + Phone + Uniform & Flexible Working Hours. 

The primary purpose of this position is electrical fault finding, service and installation of 12/24v and 230v systems.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Fault finding, diagnosing, service and installation
• Basic mechanical, plumbing and boat carpentry such as cutting out panels
• Working on trailer boats, yachts, motor boats and super yachts 

• Must be a qualified and NZ registered Electrician
• Have experience in a similar role or as an automotive or general 230v electrician
• Must have full driver's licence
• Must have a high level of verbal and written communication skills
• Be able to work autonomously with time management skills
