My client is looking for a highly driven Intermediate Accountant to join this strong team in Tauranga. This is a great opportunity to work for a modern accounting and advisory firm that has recently grown substantially and is moving through some exciting times.

The Role
Reporting to a highly-experienced manager and along with client facing duties, your responsibilities will include the preparation of financial statements start to finish, tax returns (GST, PAYE & income) and dealing directly with clients from both local and international markets.

The Candidate

• Prepare financial statements and tax returns
• Provide systems advice
• Providing advice in the areas of business improvement and advisory focused initiatives
• Manage a portfolio of clients developing close working relationships with clients
• GST, FBT and income returns

About You:

• 2+ years experience
• Experience in Xero, MYOB or Banklink
• Positive working attitude 
• Good communication skills
