About the role:

Fulton Hogan is looking for a motivated Workshop Supervisor for the Auckland Branch.

This role is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day running of our two busy Workshops at our Reliable Way site in Mount Wellington and Flexman Place in Silverdale.

In addition to this, the Workshop Supervisor will support the Department Manager in the effective utilization of resources and systems to achieve the safe delivery of mechanical repairs and servicing in the Auckland Region.

In particular, this role will be responsible for:

  • Co-ordination of resources to safely and effectively complete planned work and breakdowns
  • Planning workload as required;  with a focus on Safety, Quality and Efficiency
  • Proactive & Effective service delivery and interaction with customers and stakeholders.
  • Maintain open communication with staff and management.
  • Set a high standard of performance commitment and integrity and drive the team to achieve the same.
  • Ordering and accounting for parts and product as required in line with Fulton Hogan Policy.

 

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum full class 2 licence with the ability to gain full class 4 and 5
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Heavy machinery / Plant maintenance (or similar) industry
  • Experience in plant operation and maintenance
  • Computer literate
  • Organisation skills – timely and structured processes
  • Communication skills – interpersonal communication and customer relations
  • People Management skills
