Our client is a well-respected developer with a niche in the apartment and light commercial sector. With ongoing projects that are guaranteed recession proof they are now looking for a smart, switched on, flexible assistant with a can-do attitude to join them and learn the ropes as a Assistant Development Manager.
This is an outstanding opportunity to get your foot in the door and be mentored from experienced professionals in a lean but highly efficient team. You will be exposed to all facets of the development life cycle and you will be expected to take on each new challenge with a proactive and can-do attitude. This role isn’t for the faint-hearted as the development industry requires someone who can multi-task, be proactive, forward thinking and diligent. It is however, very exciting and entirely satisfying knowing you have helped create a permanent mark on the landscape!
Your role will include;
- Market research and feasibility study
- Assisting with design stage requirements
- Working to acquire council and building resource approvals and consents
- Tendering and procuring works packages
- Project administration
- Monthly and financial reporting
- Be degree qualified within a relevant field
- Have a minimum of 3 years property related experience
- Understand the RMA and have previously completed resource and consent applications
- Be an excellent communicator
- Understand financial analytics and have excellent attention to detail
- Be organised, well presented, resourceful with some entrepreneurial flair
- Have previously work within a client or consultancy arena
