Some More Information About The Role
  
As Corporate Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Listed Investment Companies. You will also play an integral role in supporting the board and sub committees of the three Listed Investment Companies. You will attend all board meetings, drive the implementation of a corporate strategy and provide practical input to aid board decisions.
  
The role is broad and varied across multiple disciplines. You will also be responsible for ensuring all three Listed Investment Companies comply with NZX listing rules, legal & regulatory requirements (including financial reporting obligations) and maintain an overall high standard of corporate governance.
  
Key responsibilities in this role include:
  • Day-to-day management of the Listed Investment Companies
  • Preparing all board and sub-committee papers (including Audit & Risk Committee) working with relevant stakeholders 
  • Responsible for implementing and monitoring the capital management initiative programmes
  • Ensuring all three Listed Investment Companies remain compliant and up to date with their regulatory obligations including compliance with the NZX Main Board Listing Rules, FMCA, and other applicable legislation regulatory framework.
  • Implementation of corporate strategy and providing practical input to the board’s decisions.
  • Responsible for investor communications, including the annual reports and annual shareholder meetings.

You could be from one of many backgrounds;
  • Legal professional
  • Risk & Compliance Professional
  • Finance or Audit professional
The role requires strong communication skills and superior attention to detail. The ability to liaise and influence with the boards and shareholders (verbally and written communications) is imperative. Prior experience working with a leading financial services organisation or professional services firm would be seen as highly beneficial.
  
Key experience/skill set to be successful in this role include;
  • A strong people person who can liaise and influence with multiple stakeholders
  • 7+ years’ experience in a legal, compliance or audit capacity
  • Strong understanding to the NZX and regulatory legislation
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Experience and exposure across Legal, Compliance, and Governance
  • A tertiary qualification in Law / Finance
