You will come from a financial services background with proven regulatory, legislative and framework development/maintenance experience. You will lead and evolve the design and delivery of the compliance second line of defense, including in MIS, DIMS, IPSA and other frameworks ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
You will contribute to the effective delivery of good conduct and regulatory change across the business. You will be a valued subject matter expert providing direction and guidance on things that may impact the business.
You will interpret regulatory change and regulators’ expectations and guidance, engaging with the business on how to best implement and taking it into account within the business’s corporate and regulatory strategies. You will also work in partnership with the broader business to operate and maintain the overarching regulatory compliance approach that operates congruently with the operational risk framework.
To be successful in this role you will need to engage and educate a broad range of stakeholders at varying levels within the business and maintain positive business relationships. You will be a driven and proactive individual with a problem-solving mindset and logical approach. You will possess excellent time management, organisational and communication skills as you will personally conduct much second line assurance directly. You will have experience of delivering results and understanding of financial services products and the regulatory environment.
