A fantastic opportunity exists to join our dedicated professional and passionate team, in a leadership role.

Your role is integral to the successful operation of our 4 1/2 Star Hotel - "The Spencer on Byron Hotel" and our brand new exciting high end Boutique Hotel opening in Auckland CBD at the end of 2018 both managed by NZ Castle Resorts & Hotels.

The position oversees the Revenue Management for both properties and has overall responsibility for achieving budgeted revenue targets.

This leadership role has hands-on management and works closely with Reservations, Front Office and the Director of Sales and Marketing.

In order to be successful, you will demonstrate experience, skills and knowledge of the following competencies:

• Passion and drive for results
• Self-motivator, team player and able to multi-task with an excellent eye for detail
• Must be able to work in a high pressure work environment and be flexible
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Minimum of 3 years of hotel revenue management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of the Australasian market, distribution channels and revenue management disciplines
• A minimum of Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent work experience is essential.

Key Accountabilities:

• Account management, reservations and revenue management 
• Work closely with DOSM to maximise revenue through sound yield decisions on different channels
• Overall responsibility of the reservations department and managing groups reservations 
• Manage and coordinate daily, weekly and monthly the reservations department duties and reports 
• To perform any other tasks and projects assigned by Director of Sales & Marketing
