We have a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic Barista to cover casual hours and join our team providing catering services to our client at a busy café at Auckland University.

This role will have responsibility to assist the FOH Manager in serving food, making coffees, and managing the table service. To make the customer experience enjoyable.  The role is a casual position and can vary with hours, If you have the right attitude you could be shared between 3 sites to increase your weekly hours or become permanent part time employee.

The café opens Monday to Friday and hours can be anywhere between 6am and 6pm.Student holiday will be less usage of the right candidate but could be utilized any of our other sites.

You will have strong experience in customer service and a good food background and coffee making of course. Importantly, you have excellent communication skills, a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and a commitment to providing excellent, food and service!

In order to hit the ground running, you will have:

• Previous hospitality experience in a comparable environment
• Barista experience
• Catering assistant experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Impeccable presentation and grooming
• Knowledge of OH&S & food hygiene
