At the heart of the restaurant dining space is a robata grill where artful chefs prepare and plate up in full view creating a gastro theatre environment. Large scale wood with textured walls and rustic inspired crafted detailing provide a dramatic yet elegant dining experience.

We're in search of a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to join the existing strong team of chefs at MASU.  You'll have proven experience working as a Pastry Chef at the CDP level in fast paced a la carte restaurants and have exceptional service standards with a faultless attention to detail.  Experience working within a Japanese restaurant isn't essential; however a passion for Asian cuisine and quality produce being an absolute must! 

You'll be passionate about your craft, have a genuine enthusiasm for quality ingredients and love being part of a team delivering exceptional food. This role requires a customer focused person committed to the continued delivery of quality services. The ability to organise and manage staff, providing leadership and training is essential.
