We are looking for energetic, career driven individuals ready to hit the ground running and join the team at the Iconic Hermitage Hotel
Our guest experience is paramount, so excellent presentation and communication skills are essential for this role.
For this position, experience is not essential, but knife handling skills preferred, Your CV and referee’s will prove that you are a committed person, with the right attitude and an ability to learn quickly.
Main responsibilities will include food preparation, following recipes and production requirements, cleaning, maintaining the Buffet / Café, short order cooking in Café and Chamois bar. You will need to be adaptable as you will be working in any one of 3 kitchens, doing a variety of tasks. Food safety knowledge is essential.
This is a seasonal position from September to end of April; we will commit to providing you with opportunities to improve on your current skills and knowledge, in return we require a commitment from you for the season with the opportunity of continued employment and education for the right person with the right attitude.
This is a great position for someone whom has some kitchen experience and wanting to learn in a hotel kitchen environment. This position may determine your future direction in hospitality kitchens.

- All positions at Aoraki Mt Cook Alpine Village Ltd have accommodation provided as part of our unique lifestyle package, with the weekly board & lodgings rates including three meals a day and power.
