Head Chef
Swanson RSA Auckland
Are you an experienced Chef either looking for a change or just ready to take that next step in your career.
We are looking for an experienced chef passionate about food and who can promote and maintain a positive kitchen environment.
The Swanson RSA is the largest in West Auckland. Our modern clubrooms consist of three bars and a sumptuous restaurant. We hold regular live entertainment and have a function space for hire, an ideal venue for weddings and other celebrations. You will oversee the daily operations of the kitchen including the food preparation, stock control, purchasing and quality control.
The successful candidate will have:
• The experience and enthusiasm to lead a team.
• Communication and management skills to lead by example
• A can-do and innovative attitude whilst effectively managing
with a keen eye on food and labour costs.
• The ability to create seasonal menus fit for purpose
• A knowledge of health / safety and hygene management .
• A customer focus and be presentable.
• Experience in a club format is an advantage but not essential
• Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
