phil&teds: owner of global brands - phil&teds, Mountain Buggy and Mokopuna Merino - needs a talented cook to keep its creative juices flowing. It has been said that an army marches on its caffeine intake - this army marches on a global scale.

That's a whole lot of coffee people! Our support office in Newtown is a hive of activity and we need you to come in, make a mean brew, whip up some seriously good kai and create a collaboration space unlike any other. You will handle the job with flair, spirit and a permanently cheerful attitude. 

The role itself...

You are the' Host with the Most' and are responsible for all hospitality functions within phil&teds. You'll have responsibilities for day to day operations within the building, especially ensuring level 1 is a welcoming environment for all phil&teds heads & visitors, and that our unique culture and spirit is reflected within the space. You will be responsible for hosting, catering & organising events within the business (alongside managers), & ensure they run successfully. Your role includes maintaining terrific hospitality, ensuring that all facilities are properly cleaned & maintained, taking consistent steps in providing phil&teds heads satisfaction whilst overseeing the upkeep of administrative & financial records.  

Skills & experience

• flair, resilience and spirit! (You notice we put that first!)
• Hospitality skills including; cooking, coffee & event management
• Ability to make lunches for the masses! 
• Effective communicator across all levels of the business
• Work well in pressured situations when needed and able to focus so that the work is completed without error or delay or unnecessary assistance
• Solution orientated approach to issues that arise with excellent follow-up skills to ensure issue is resolved. 
• Be an advocate of phil&teds philosophy, values and branding policies
