Are you a customer service superstar? We have a store open inside Middlemore Hospital and are seeking highly motivated, friendly and efficient team members with a positive pro-active attitude to join our team.
We are looking for the best of the best to join our friendly and motivated crew. We have opportunities for Sandwich Artists and Shift Managers. We are all about customer service and making the best Subway Sandwiches, Salads and Wraps each and every day!
Do you think you have what it takes? Experience is not needed, full training is provided.
Our positions include full time & part time crew available to work day, night and weekend shifts between the hours of 7am to 10pm on a roster basis.
Role Overview
A Sandwich Artist™ serves and adds value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. This position promotes SUBWAY® brand awareness and ensures hygiene standards are met.
Key Accountabilities
Store Merchandising
-Receive deliveries and check in stock
-Daily bread counts
-Food preparation including bread and cookie baking
Food Safety
-Comply with Food Code of Practice
-Ensure food is prepared and stored and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards
-Carry out temperature checks and record as per company process
-Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules as per cleaning chart
Security & Loss Prevention
-Take precautions to prevent theft of, and damage to, the stock or store
-Follow company security procedures
-Secure cash and stock from loss or theft
Cashier Operations
-Count end of shift monies and drop in safe
Occupational Health & Safety
-Follow safety procedures to prevent injury
-Provide a safe work environment for employees and customers
Personal Qualities
-Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet SUBWAY® and -customer expectations
-Work as a team member
-Complete training courses as directed by the SUBWAY® Manager
Key Challenges
-Ensure customers are served in an efficient and friendly manner
-Maintain high personal standards in both presentation and work habits
-Ensure that Health and Safety standards are met
-Complete daily work routines in an efficient and timely manner
