Calling all talented Head Chefs looking for week day hours and a work / life balance while working for a well established company!
Victoria Food Service currently has a fantastic opportunity for a talented Head Chef to lead our friendly kitchen team in our new corporate catering kitchen located just off Fitzgerald Avenue in the city.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate
- At least 2 years’ experience leading a kitchen team of 5 or more at Sous Chef or Head Chef level
- Experience delivering an exceptional food experience to corporate clients
- Experience catering for functions, conferences and large volume events
- High standards of organisation
- Outstanding attention to detail
- High standards of quality, consistency and presentation
- Multi-tasking and ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment under pressure
- Ability to manage menu plans, budgets, stock control, food control plans and health and safety
- Personable with a positive attitude and good communication skills
- A genuine desire to work hard and contribute positively to our experienced management team and the future growth of the business
Benefits:
- Normal shift pattern Monday – Friday 6:30am – 2:30pm with some evenings and weekends as and when required
