Your new company
You will be working with a very diverse New Zealand business who are a Kiwi operated organisation that touches the lives of people all over the country. This is a Fixed Term opportunity for 6-12 months and is based in Lower Hutt.
Your new role
You will be working with others in the payroll function to manage the end to end processes including employee changes and payments, 3rd party reporting requirements, financial and other reporting needs and file maintenance in the most effective way to ensure accuracy and timeliness for your customers.
What you'll need to succeed
• Ability to be dynamic and adapt within a changing environment
• Be able to offer great insights into the review project
• Confident with reporting and working with project deadlines
• 3+ years in a high volume payroll
• Great attention to detail
• High level of accuracy with data and numbers
• Ability to robustly plan and prioritise a busy workload
• Strong customer focus
• Curiosity and continuous improvement focus
• Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Holidays Act (desirable, not essential)
• Previous experience with CHRIS/Kiosk system (desirable, not essential)
