We have our own large-scale manufacturing operations based in Christchurch, Rolleston, Auckland and Brisbane which are supported by our in-house design, engineering, and R & D teams.
We are seeking a Financial Accountant to work alongside the hard working and enthusiastic team at our head office in Christchurch. This role reports to the Group Financial Reporting Manager and offers a fast paced and varied role where you can develop your skills. This is a full-time permanent position with scope for development.
What will you be doing in this role?
- The delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting on a monthly and annual basis.
- Supporting the completion of the Group annual budget and monthly forecasts.
- Delivering accurate and timely pricing and product/project costing for two business units.
- Brand costing and pricing support.
- Providing finance key user support for the Group’s ERP system and other accounting systems used by the business.
What will allow you to succeed in this role:
- Sound financial accounting, management accounting and analytical skills.
- CA qualification.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Professional presentation and attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work on a number of projects at any one time.
- Computer literacy in particular with the MS suite, including Excel, and preferably ERP system experience.
- Confidence, with a good sense of humour.
